Harald Link (born January 12, 1955) is a socially engaged Thai-German entrepreneur and industrialist. Link is the chairman, CEO, and owner of B. Grimm, a multi-national conglomerate active in healthcare, energy, building & industrial systems, real estate, e-commerce, and transport. He is an independent board director of True Corporation PCL. B. Grimm is known in Thailand as a public champion of compassionate business practices.

Link is the 3rd generation in his family to manage B. Grimm. He started at B. Grimm in 1978 at age 23, joined his uncle Herbert and father Dr. Gerhard Link as Managing Partner in 1987, and became CEO that year at the age of 32.

In his time at B. Grimm as CEO, the business has expanded from annual revenues of $50 million to over $2 billion. Link pursued a dual strategy of partnering in joint ventures with leading global companies that he admired and starting new businesses in energy, shipping, and real estate – independent of multi-national manufacturers.

B. Grimm built long-standing equity partnerships with Thai companies such as Amata, CP Group, Ratanarak, and other families and multi-nationals such as Merck, Carl Zeiss, Siemens, United Technologies, Sumitomo, Getinge, Beijer, KSB, and others.

In July 2017, B. Grimm Power PCL filed for an initial public offering on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company is traded under the ticker symbol “BGRIM”

For his contribution to the development of German-Thai trade and economic relations, he was awarded the Cross of Merit and the ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1995 and in October 2010 with the Cross of Merit 1st Class.

Link attended St. Gallen University and graduated in 1978 with an MBA degree. He received an honorary doctorate in Business Administration from the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya in 2016. The graduation ceremony was presided over by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. He is a board member of the Thai Red Cross Society, a number of its Subcommittees, the President of the Thailand Equestrian Federation, Chairman of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Chairman of the Princess Mother’s Charities Fund and board member of a number of other institutions like the Thai Chamber of Commerce Board and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
